“Cooking Around the World” classes are for chefs ages 9-13, is designed to introduce young people to healthy eating habits while exposing them to different cultures as well as giving them life skills. Students will learn how to chop, peel, measure and to expand their skills with recipe preparation and basic kitchen tasks. During each class, we will explore a specific region and cuisine and we will explore the culture and geography as well. The chefs will have the opportunity to taste what they made in class. We use natural, seasonal and organic ingredients whenever available, and do not use nut-based products, raw meat or shellfish. We focus on introducing the small chefs to new cuisines, tastes, healthy eating habits, and the cultures representing the recipes they cook.
