Feisty Fishers

Are fishers cats? Do they really eat fish? Come find answers to these questions and more at the Albany Pine Bush Discovery Center. We will start inside with a short talk about the history and biology of the fisher. Then we will continue outside for a 1.0 mile walk in the Preserve as we look for signs of the fisher. Please remember to dress for the weather. All ages are welcome.
Pre-registration is required for all events.
Fee: $3.00/person, $5.00/family, Children under 5 free.
Please plan to arrive at least 5-10 minutes before the start of the program to purchase your ticket.
Tickets can also be purchased in advance of the program at the Discovery Center reception desk.
Groups with 8 or more people, please call us for special accommodations.
Note: Programs begin promptly at times listed. Please notify us if you need to cancel your registration so we can open your spot up to the waiting list.
CANCELLATION POLICY: No refunds. It is, however, permissible to send or designate another person to use your program registration.
DIRECTIONS TO APB DISCOVERY CENTER: From I-87 take exit 2W (Rt 5 West, Central Avenue). Follow Rt 5 for about 2 miles then turn left onto Rt 155 (New Karner Rd). Continue on Rt 155 for about 1.2 miles. The Discovery Center is located on the left at 195 New Karner Road. (518)456-0655
