Young Discoverers: Our Wonderful Winter Weather (Let It Snow!)

Young Discoverers is a weekly science-based "drop-in" program designed for children 2-5 Simple experiments and craft projects all add to the excitement of learning something new. Every month will feature a new theme .

Children will share experiences about winter weather - what they do with their families -and especially stories about SNOW!! They will observe a working thermometer and become metoerologists while comparing winter to the other 3 seasons. We will learn new vocabulary words while we enjoy a special book WINTER by Tanya Thayer. We'll even make our own (pretend) snow!!
