Daisy Days is a summer day camp at Miss Porter’s School for girls entering grades K-5! Designed to be full of joy and discovery, this day camp is all about having fun, exploring new activities, making friends, and growing confident in who we are!

Elmwood is the ideal size day camp for children. Our intentionally designed facility allows for children to be known. They are able to explore, challenge themselves and discover their passions. Small groups ensure that Elmwood campers are connected to each other and their counselors. Our directors, Hillari and Gregg are directly involved with campers, staff and all aspects of camp. Every grade level reflects the varying needs of the age group, from kids 3 years old up to grade 6. The guiding principle of our program is to give each child the opportunity to enjoy the full range of creative and outdoor activities, which are designed for participation, skill development and fun.

At Adventure Boat Camp, kids experience the wonders of the Hudson River on a boat! Either paddling, sailing, or motoring, campers learn to navigate the river, investigate local ecology, tie useful knots, and perhaps catch a fish. Aboard a private fleet of vessels, our experienced captains plan adventures exploring deserted beaches, hiking across uninhabited islands, and scouting urban remnants while encouraging fun and empowerment within the camp group.

Campers will put on a production of Shrek Jr. during this 3 week camp!

Set sail on an unforgettable adventure with the Hudson River Maritime Museum’s Voyager Program! Perfect for ages 9-17, this hands-on, all-day summer camp blends sailing, boatbuilding, woodworking, and STEAM activities into one extraordinary experience. From July 6 to August 14, HRMM offers young Seafarers, ages 9-12, and Navigators, ages 13-17, six action-packed weeks of learning from professional educators, woodworkers, and certified sailing instructors. Whether exploring the Hudson’s rich maritime history, crafting boats, or enjoying three hours of daily sailing, kids will build confidence, creativity, and lasting friendships. Designed for youths aged 9-17, this program is perfect for all skill levels. Our Seafarers (9-12 years) and Navigators (13-17 years) will spend each day sailing for three hours, practicing boat building and woodworking for 90 minutes, and participating in other STEAM activities involving history, crafts, games, and tours on our solar vessel, Solaris, all while making friends, learning new skills and fostering their creativity!
