Anne Carol Acting
ANNE CAROL is a seasoned performer, coach, and teacher with over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry. She has coached actors on major television shows and films including Ozark, Daredevil, Locke and Key, Odd Mom Out, and The Ticket to name a few. Anne’s musical theater career includes stand out roles in the Broadway National Tour of Pippin, the pre-Broadway run of Arthur, and the National Tour of A Chorus Line. She also performed as one of the world-famous Rockettes, gracing the iconic 6,000-seat stage at Radio City Music Hall. Anne’s passion for storytelling eventually took center stage, leading her to pursue a fulfilling acting journey of her own. Today, she brings together her deep experience as a performer and her insight as a coach to help actors uncover authentic, truthful storytelling. She is dedicated to building her students’ confidence and preparing them for success- both on stage and off. Anne currently teaches and coaches in New York City, the Hudson Valley, and online.
On Camera Performance: This class is designed to build confidence, develop on-camera presence, and strengthen performance technique in a fun, professional environment. Through a blend of commercial acting and short scene work, actors will sharpen their audition skills, explore character development, and perform on camera with clarity, charisma, and control.
Acting Technique Class: This class is designed to help actors develop a solid foundation in their craft, offering essential tools for truthful, creative work. Students will experience the teachings of masters such as Meisner, Stanislavski, and Uta Hagen through engaging classroom exercises, homeplay, and presentations. The class will foster a supportive environment where students are free to explore and be vulnerable. I will tailor my instructions to help each actor discover their unique potential.
Scene Study ClassThis class invites you to dive into storytelling through immersive scene work. By analyzing and interpreting the text, engaging in emotional preparation, and exploring your character’s relationships, you'll discover the truth within the character, the actor, and the story itself—bringing it all to life. In a supportive environment, you'll be encouraged to take risks, make clear choices, and become more relaxed and vulnerable. By the end of the class, you will feel more confident, prepared, and accomplished as an actor.
