Brides for Sale: The Story of Sonita

In light of International Education Week, we will be showing a documentary about an Afghan rapper and activist, Sonita Alizadeh has been vocal against forced child marriages. The 90 minute documentary follows her journey as a refugee in Iran to her gaining fame through her Brides for Sale music video.

Sonita's advocacy is supported by the nonprofit organization Strongheart Group.

After the documentary, Sonita will be speaking about child brides as well as holding a Q&A.
