Build-A-Book

*The event has already taken place on this date: Fri, 07/16/2021
So you want to write a book, but you need a plan? Learn how to plot a book chapter by chapter, taking your great idea and turning it into a juicy plot. We’ll access resources from a variety of arts & cultural organizations, and observe how ordinary people and places can help you bring your book’s characters to life and become heroes and villains. We’ll study craft using our personal copies of Ralph Fletcher’s Live Writing, our guide to becoming better writers.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
