*The event has already taken place on this date: Mon, 04/22/2019
Queens County Farm Museum and the Museum of the Moving Image have partnered for the first time to create the Earth Day Bee A Pollinator Program. Earth Day 2019 is on Monday, April 22 during the NYC Department of Education's Spring Break. The museums invite soon-to-bee environmentalists and their grown-ups out to Queens Farm for an afternoon to celebrate Earth Day.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

The program includes kids' crafts (beeswax candlemaking and make-your-own seed balls), bee talks in our apiary, and guided tours of our farm and historic house. Admission includes a 10% off coupon in our Farm Store. Popcorn and refreshments will be available for sale, as well as tickets for a tractor-drawn hayride and fresh alfalfa to feed our goats.

*Times, dates, and prices of any activity posted to our calendars are subject to change. Please be sure to click through directly to the organization’s website to verify.
