Choose and Cut Christmas Trees at Abel's Trees

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
- Complimentary baling is offered to facilitate handling of your tree and we are happy to help tie your tree to your car should you like assistance.
- Loaner saws are available should you need one. We require a $10 deposit on the saw (which you get back once you return the saw).
- We accept cash or personal check.
- Many customer have also asked about dogs / pets. We welcome dogs, but we ask that they remain leashed.
Additionally, we would appreciate that
everyone follow our COVID-19 related rules:
1). Masks will be required to enter the buildings and any time that social distancing of 6 feet or more cannot be maintained.
2). We will request that only one family member enter the sales barn at a time.
3). We will ask that people in lines for tree sales, food, or saws stay at least 6 feet apart.
4). There will be no inside seating or tables.
5). Hand sanitizer will be available in multiple locations.
Erin will be baking her special treats as usual for the weekends. However, we will be unable to provide a full selection of treats on weekdays. Special orders may be arranged in advance by calling us or by writing to Erin directly at Abelstreats@gmail.com.
This year has been a tough one for the trees. In April, there was a late frost and we had 2 extended drought periods during the summer. Most trees were unaffected, but you will see some trees with less growth or with interior needle loss. Overall, we still have thousands of very nice trees, but if you are looking for a Charlie Brown Christmas tree, you may see a few more than usual.
