Danbury Library presents: "Life Is Sublime" DIY Lime Sugar Scrub & Banana Facial Mask

Come join Velya and Ehris, of The Grounded Goodwife, and get a healthy glow for Spring in a hands-on workshop with on-hand ingredients! We will be making:
1. "In the Limelight" Sugar Scrub. DIYing a chemical free exfoliating scrub is the perfect way to get your skin glowing as we shed winter layers!
2. "I'm Going Bananas!" Face Mask. Wandering into your kitchen and putting some fresh fruit on your face isn't as crazy as it sounds. Bananas are filled with ingredients that are great for your skin!
You will need the following ingredients:
In the Limelight Sugar Scrub
- Lime
- Coconut oil
- White sugar
- Lime essential oil
- 8-ounce jar
I’m Going Bananas! Face Mask
- cacao (or cocoa) powder
- banana
- honey
- yogurt
- small mixing bowl
This program is for teens and their families. There is no upper age limit - all are welcome.
