*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 02/20/2021
Karlus Trapp’s delightful, educational, and entertaining presentation ”The Roots of Black Music in America” is a 100 year journey back through time to hear, experience anew, and learn about the music of America’s black musical giants. Although the show is geared towards children and teens, it can be enjoyed by all ages. It is a joyful show that encourages singing and dancing, even alone in your living room, but best if you can gather a group of children around you. Karlus has presented this show solo or with ensemble to thousands of kids of all ages, from elementary school, through high school. The Vimeo link and password will be posted on the library's Facebook page, and the show can be enjoyed at your own convenience through Feb. 20th.
