Jeffersonville Founder’s Day Oktoberfest
It is held Columbus Day weekend, Sunday, October 8th. Picture Main Street Jeffersonville decorated and packed with artisan vendors. Live music all weekend and delicious German and Swiss food and treats served at all 6 Main Street restaurants. Each restaurant offering outdoor seating and service so you won’t miss any of the action. As if that isn’t incentive enough, the two days are jam packed with some of the most entertaining events you could find!
We kick off the event off with our BYOB (Build Your Own Boat) Race. Hilarity is bound to ensue when each team takes it’s mark at the starting line in the Mill Pond. The themed boats are very impressive on land but… will they float?… which one will win? Meet us by the Mill Pond to join in the fun, or better yet, bring your own handmade boat! Some competitors will even grow their own giant pumpkin to hollow out and race in! The competition doesn’t end there.
Throughout the day here are tons of activities for families & children. Shop our unique artisan vendors, get your fill of German and Swiss Fare or choose from the many ongoing activities including horse and carriage rides, pony rides, bungee trampolines, games & prizes, face painting, inflatables, hair ribbon braiding, alpacas & felting projects, arts & crafts, live music, photo stations, great food and drinks and so much more!
The Oktoberfest Celebration is not to be missed!
