Parent-Child Sailing Class

Parent-Child Sailing Classes for youth ages 5 - 8 and an accompanying adult. US Sailing Certified instructors will teach students the basics of sailing in a safe and comfortable three-session (nine-hour), while they make friends and have new experiences.

The class introduces students to the basics of sailing in a nurturing environment.This class is for pairs of parents (or grandparents) and their children (grandchildren) ages five to eight. One parent/grandparent sails with one child to ensure each student feels comfortable aboard sailboats, is safe, has fun and learns some sailing concepts, while making new friends and having new experiences.
Each class is limited to eight students (four adults and four children) with two US Sailing certified sailing instructors plus one or two skilled teen mentors.
