Teen Photography Workshop With Ocean Morisset, Age 13 – 18

Join Ocean Morisset, an internationally exhibited, self-taught (freelance) photographer specializing in Photojournalism and Documentary photography.
Weekend 1 – Saturday May 4, 1 – 3 PM
Weekend 2 – Saturday May 11, 1 – 3 PM
Tuition $100
Discounted Tuition $80 (Peekskill Residents with financial need only)
2 weekends (4 hours total) photography workshop for the youth at New Era Creative Space using smart phones (Students Require a smart phone to participate.)
Location: Depew Park/Downtown Peekskill
–Discussion of basic photography principles.
–Hiking along trails and parks and walking along downtown Peekskill students will photograph the environment
–We will cover Landscape photography, Still Life, and candid portraiture.

All of which are useful in the “bigger picture” of Life!
Photos will be edited and printed by Professional Photographer Ocean Morisset. Photos will be mounted on the walls of NECS and discussion about the experience and images will be led by Ocean Morisset. Student exhibition will open by June 2nd in time for Peekskill Open Studios.
