Come celebrate a classic autumn harvest like the Victorians did! We’ll kick this party off with a guided nut tree identification hike around the park. Post-hike we’ll use tools to practice processing various nuts to make into nutty snacks like Alice Livingston’s hickory macaroons. Kids will have the opportunity to warm up with some hot cocoa while making their own nut-head dolls. You’d be nuts to miss this wonderful fall tradition! Comfortable shoes suggested. Fun for all ages! There is no charge for this event, but visitors must register in advance.
