All Abilities Kids Storytime at Red Hook Library

*The event has already taken place on this date: Fri, 06/21/2019
The All Abilities Kids series of programs at Red Hook Public Library has been designed for children and teens who have intellectual, cognitive and/or developmental disabilities. At All Abilities Kids Storytime, we share a story orally and visually using a felt board. We sing songs together, and enjoy an adaptive craft project. At Red Hook Public Library, we believe caregivers and parents are the best judges of a child or teen’s interests and abilities; thus, the only age restriction is that participants must be under 18 years. Space is limited, so registration is required. All Abilities Kids programs take place in our third-floor Community Room which offers a quiet environmental with reduced sensory stimuli. If you’ve been hesitant to try library programs with your child, give All Abilities Kids a try. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED
