Beat Making Camp

Ever wonder how the most popular music gets created? Are you looking to add original music to your TikTok/YouTube videos? It starts with a beat! Unlock the creativity of making music without knowing how to play an instrument.
Students learn the basics of creating Hip-Hop, EDM, and Trap music using instrument loops, sampling, and sequencing to create their own beat from scratch. No musical experience is required! To participate in this camp, students need a computer (Mac or PC) with Google Chrome installed to utilize BandLab for Education, a free online music production platform.
At the end of this camp, students will present their beat to the class and be prepared to enroll in either Songwriting or Music Production Camps to learn more about creating their own songs.
This camp will be held on select weeks:
June 28th, 9 am - 12:30 pm
July 19th, 9 am - 12:30 pm
August 2nd, 12:30 pm - 4 pm
