Cooking Class at the CIA: The Young Pastry Chef

Do you have a young pastry chef in your household that is serious about dessert? There is no better time to start learning the tricks of the trade than now, and this class is designed for kids with a true passion for pastry. Through demonstrations and hands-on lessons, students will work on 5 core techniques to begin building the foundation of their pastry know-how. Once they master fundamentals like pâte à choux, custards, and meringues, they can move on to favorites like éclairs, crème brûlée, and even soufflés! Of course, there will be plenty of tastings, as well as treats to take home and share with friends and family.
This class is for kids ages 8 -12. All children must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18.
