Curious Jane is a summer day camp for girls who like to make things. Our project-based themes all revolve around science + engineering + design. It’s crafty, DIY, full-of-color, creativity, energy and FUN!

Curious Jane is for girls who like to make things! We're going into our 15th summer of camp and so excited about (finally!) coming to the Hudson Valley this summer! We're launching in Woodstock this August – offering two weeks of camp with super cool themes like Spy Science, Roller Coasters and Rides, Kitchen Chemistry, Miniature World, and Spa Science. Who: Girls entering 1st-5th grades
When: August 14-25 (sign-up for one or both weeks)
Time: 9:30 am - 3:30 pm

Cost: $475/week
Extra Fun!: The second week of camp, Broadway performer Denise Summerford will teach an optional daily creative drama workshop from 3:30-5:30 pm for girls entering 1st-6th grade. Details:
This class is all about exploring how strong girls are through confidence building theatre games and improvisation. We will take a look at classic stories where girls typically take a backseat and turn them into mini plays where girls actually get to show their power and save themselves.
Denise is the founder of the Broadway Arts Collective. She has appeared on Broadway in Taboo, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Saturday Night Fever and Grease and played leading roles in the Broadway touring companies of Leader of the Pack, Grease, Company, and The Who’s Tommy. Denise runs a private voice and acting studio in New Paltz. She is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association, SAG/AFTRA, AGVA and NATS (National Assoc of Teachers of Singing)
