The Mid-Hudson Discovery Museum is teaming up with The Art Effect for a drawing workshop for children ages 8-11 led by artist Melissa Small Cooper in the Museum Pavilion!

The Mid-Hudson Discovery Museum is teaming up with The Art Effect for a drawing workshop for children ages 8-11 led by artist Melissa Small Cooper in the Museum Pavilion! Explore the art of drawing with themes inspired by the Hudson River Valley, nature, and animals. Learn how to draw, starting with basic shapes and finishing with details and texture. Explore various shading techniques such as blending, smudging, hatching, stippling and more. Take home your very own project! All materials are included.
$10 MHDM members, $15 non-members
