Earth Day Conservation Project

Come celebrate Earth Day a little bit early by volunteering on a conservation project in the Pine Bush.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

. A variety of activities suitable for all ages will be taking place. All equipment will be provided. Please dress appropriately for the weather and outside working conditions and bring drinking water. Lunch will be provided for all volunteers. All ages. Free!

 

Pre-registration is required for all events.

 

Fee: Free!

 

Please plan to arrive at least 5-10 minutes before the start of the program to check-in at the Discovery Center reception desk.

 

Note: Programs begin promptly at times listed. Please notify us if you need to cancel your registration so we can open your spot up to the waiting list.

 

While leashed pets are permitted on marked trails, we ask that visitors not bring pets to our educational programs.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY: No refunds. It is, however, permissible to send or designate another person to use your program registration.

 

DIRECTIONS TO APB DISCOVERY CENTER: From I-87 take exit 2W (Rt 5 West, Central Avenue). Follow Rt 5 for about 2 miles then turn left onto Rt 155 (New Karner Rd). Continue on Rt 155 for about 1.2 miles. The Discovery Center is located on the left at 195 New Karner Road. (518)456-0655
