Family Event - Gotta Swing! Eyal Vilner Swing Band

Swing is an energetic, rhythmic dance that originated in Harlem in the 1920s. Bring the kids and join the Eyal Vilner Swing Band and dancers for a fun show that will explore the rich history of this uniquely American art form. By late afternoon, everyone will fully understand why it’s called swing … when the musicians play (or sing), they “swing the beat,” meaning they play the notes late and then catch up in the next beat. Gotta swing, baby!
This is a dancing event! There will be some seating available, first come first served.

Summer Season Shuttle / Take the FREE shuttle from Metro North’s Katonah train station to and from Caramoor! The shuttle runs before and after every summer afternoon and evening concert. No need to RSVP to get on the shuttle, it will be there when you arrive (in the parking lot side of the station). And if it’s not there, that means that it just left and will be back in 5-10 minutes!
