From Garlic Mustard to Masterpiece

*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 06/11/2022
Create works of art using invasive plants at Teatown, while learning about different types of native and invasive plants and ways to manage them!

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

Have you ever wondered where the plants in your backyard came from? Join us in comparing the native, naturalized, and invasive species found here in the Hudson Valley region. Learn about the methods used for invasive species management, and then create works of art using invasive plant species and recycled paper. We will be going for a short walk to collect some of our art materials, so please wear appropriate footwear and comfortable clothes.

M $10/family; NM $15/family
Limited to eight families
No more than five family members/family
This program will take place outside. Please meet at the Nature Center.
