Kids Run The Farm at Muscoot

Kids Run the Farm is a trail race event at Muscoot Farm Park in Katonah, NY. Kids run on trails in two different age appropriate distances. At the finish, runners in the kids races receive a medal and "Farm Bucks" to spend at the Muscoot Farmer's Market taking place at the farm. There is also a 5 mile trail race for older kids and adults. The farm yard has cows, sheep, goats, horses, turkeys, chickens, and ducks. Plus a farm cat named Hunter. The farm has 777 acres of parkland surrounding the authentic 1890s farm at the center of it.

Run The Farm and Kids Run the Farm is BACK for 2024 with a NEW spring race day (5/19/24) and the traditional FALL race day (10/28/24)!
Registration is OPEN for:
- NEW Spring Run the Farm and KIDS Run the Farm (5/19/24)
- Fall Run The Farm and Kids Run the Farm (10/27/24).
Race start times:
-8:30AM Kids race #1 (Age 7-12)
-8:45AM Kids race #2 (Age 6 & under) Note: Kids Race #1 will be finished before Kids Race #2 gets underway.
-9:30AM Run The Farm
Note - kids ages are calculated as of the day of the race May 19th. So if your child turns 7 on May 19th they will run in Race #1.

Arrive at least 30 minutes before race start to park, get race bib, pick up shirt (if ordered), and get oriented and warmed up! At the end of the races, participants get "Farm Bucks" to spend in the Farmer's Market.
