Pied Piper Youth Theater Summer Camps!

Don’t wait to register for one of our fun- loving, creative themed Day camps!

 

All day camps are 9am -3pm, suited for Elementary and Middle school-aged campers of all abilities.

 

Each high-energy camp features community building, theater games, acting, voice, movement, visits from industry professionals, an open mic, arts, crafts, outdoor play and a culminating presentation to share our week with friends and family.

 

 

Spotlight on Stories Alive!

 

Using classic stories and well- known folktales, campers will develop their own scripts, costumes, props and sets and share a production at the end of the week.

New– to -the-stage actors, as well as experienced thespians will enjoy theatre games, community building activities, music, movement, and acting technique; visits from industry professionals, open mic and indoor and outdoor fun!

Our inclusive programming emphasizes student-centered learning, hands-on experiences, and creating and supportive environment for all to learn and grow!

 

 

Spotlight on Seussical the Musical!

 

Do you know this show? Take all of your favorite Seuss stories and wrap them into one exciting adventure! A Community Theater favorite, we will create our own interpretation in just two weeks!!

Dedicated Horton the elephant, quirky Gertrude McFuzz, and flamboyant Maizie LaBird, are just a few of the wonderful characters we will bring the life! And of course the show-stopping emcee of the day, The Cat in the Hat!

 

-and the music!?

Get ready to learn some Broadway-style showstoppers, Ragtime blues, ground-shaking gospel revival, a sleepy-time Ballet, and a military march! All of this high energy music will be sure to excite and delight all dancers and non-dancers alike!

 

We will create our own Whoville while we learn some really cool stagecraft techniques using both familiar and novel theatrical materials!

 

True to the very world that Dr. Seuss has created, our imaginations will run wild as we dream up costumes and props to go along with our characters!

Spotlight on Disney dance

 

Back by popular demand, our Disney dance camp features a different Disney- inspired theme each day!

Dance and sing with family Madrigal (even Bruno…), Mary Poppins, and Aladdin, as we travel the world; and Moana, Ariel, and Jack Sparrow while we take to the sea! Cruella, Maleficent, Ursula, and their children will make an appearance when we visit the villains, and come see what other Disney magic we will create together!

 

 

Spotlight on Renfaire

 

Picture a time long ago when Medieval Knights defended their queen; princesses, wood fairies and even Robin Hood and his merry troupe roamed the forest!

Join us for a May pole dance, a joust, a poetry reading or a minstrels serenade!

Bringing the magic of a Renaissance Faire to White Pond, we will create an atmosphere in celebration of the arts, music, crafts and tests of skill and strength of 500 years ago!

We will have a festival at the end of the week for friends and family to experience our faire!
