Playland's Scared by the Sound haunted attraction is back this October...with more thrills and chills! Weekends starting October 3.

2015 marks the 16th consecutive year of Scared by the Sound Haunted House located at the historic Playland Amusement Park. While striving to maintain our reputation for realism and a commitment to detail, this season is sure to again offer haunted house lovers a thrilling and terrifying experience. New scenes, along with reworked and enhanced elements, will surely keep even the most jaded mortals amongst us on high alert with sensory overload.
Come see and experience for yourself Crypt Walk, The Haunted Wine Cellar, Creepy Morgue, Tunnels of Doom and more. Open weekends in October (plus Thursday October 29th) parking, as always, is free. Amusement Park Rides Are Not Open for this Event.
And new this year, please visit us at our permanent Scared by the Sound Interactive display located at Playland Amusement Park all season long. Watch as unsuspecting Park goers are transformed into ZOMBIES in real time. Also while you’re there, get updated haunt and discount coupon information as well as chances at give-a-ways that are available every day all summer long just by entering your email address in the automated system.
ADVISORY
This is a walk-through dark attraction. Night time event may be too scary for children under 10 years of age, alone or with an adult. Strobe lighting and fog may be in use during this night time event. Persons adversely affected by these effects are advised not to enter.
