Sensory Hours allow families with young children with autism and other sensory integration challenges to explore MHCM exhibits in a modified environment with reduced sound, designated quiet spaces, extra visual signage and sensory aids.
Sensory Hours are held the second Sunday of each month from 9:00 am – 11:00 am. Preregistration is required, as space will be limited. Please note: Sensory Hours are for young children ages 0-8 as MHCM gallery spaces and exhibits are designed for little kid bodies.
Cost: MHCM Members: $8; non-members: $10
Sensory Hours are presented in partnership with the Anderson Center for Autism and the Dutchess County “ThinkDIFFERENTLY” Initiative, and are made possible with support from Stewart’s Shops.
