Summer Art Institute

The Art Effect's Summer Art Institute, young artists ages 11-14 and 14-19 will hone their skills in fine and digital art in intensive two-week sessions.

Summer Art Intensive is an intensive for serious young artists ages 11-14 and 14-19, modeled after college studio courses. Students will choose a major of fine or digital art, and pursue electives with talented instructors. These courses provide the time, space, and one-on-one mentorship necessary to develop foundation arts skills, explore new mediums, and eventually develop a college portfolio!
Classes meet Monday - Friday, 9:30am- 4:30pm at Dutchess Community College, Allyn Washington Center for Art & Science, 37 Gallery Circle, Poughkeepsie
Session 1: 7/3 - 7/14
Session 2: 7/17 - 7/28
Session 3: 7/31 - 8/11
