Summer Play Camp at Blue Rock School

This five-week program was started in 2001 by parents and teachers to provide a safe, child-centered and joyous experience for all children, and to share the "Blue Rock experience" with the broader community. A major component of this unique experience is the celebration and nurturing of childhood itself. The program is specially designed for children ages 3 through 12. By allowing children the time to explore, collaborate, connect with the natural world, express themselves creatively, and play, each day is a journey of self-discovery. Tuition is highly affordable, and each summer, the program typically draws over half of its campers from other area schools, both public and private, and from the home-schooled community as well.
At Summer Play Camp, we carefully arrange a daily rhythm for the children that creates a balance between structure and choice. In the morning, the groups go two two scheduled activities (with a healthy snack in the classroom in-between). The kids have lunch all together in our shady outdoor amphitheater, and then in the afternoon they sign up for the stations they'd like to visit that day. Summer Play Camp runs five weeks. Deposit required to hold spot. Registration and forms due by May 1, full payment due by June 1.

There is a 4 or 5 day a week option
5 Day Week M-F 9:30 - 3:00 PM
$550 per week
4 Day Week M-TH 9:30 - 3:00 PM
$440 per week
For Additional Cost:
Early Drop off 9am - $40 per wk

Flex Scheduling: If you submit registration forms and full payment for two or more weeks by April 1, we will guarantee your child a spot in camp for that number of weeks. You just need to let us know by May 1 which weeks you will attend.
