J-TEENS at JCC Rockland

J-Teens includes campers entering 6th, 7th and 8th grade. A dynamic, in-camp program combined with weekly out of camp trips makes this program exciting and unique. Some highlights of the J-Teens program include age-appropriate in-camp activities, fun and intensive elective programs and two out-of-camp trips each week. Trips include teen-friendly locations, activities, and attractions. We visit amusement parks, water parks, museums, factory tours and more!

J-TEENS HIGHLIGHTS
- Monday and Wednesday on the JCC campus participating in awesome, age appropriate activities such as athletics, team building, creative arts, swimming and community service. (No camp on Fridays).
- Free swim in the afternoon and afternoon programming that may feature a social action initiative, a team sport and indoor/outdoor cooking.
- Scheduled hour long periods for choice activities; cooking, fitness and wellness, photography, etc.
- Theme days, special events and activity days, interactive workshops and more.
- Tuesdays and Thursdays will feature a fantastic day trip adventure to amusement parks, beaches, tubing, water parks, etc. Thursday will be a late return to the JCC (5:30pm/6:00pm).
Campers will:
- Socialize and fun with peers in a safe, inclusive environment.
- Socialize and have fun with with pears in safe inclusive environment.
- Learn independence.
- Develop new skills and interests.
- Participate in programming that gives back to the community.
