*The event has already taken place on this date: Tue, 05/12/2020
Liquid water is an important component to “life as we know it.” Salts extend the stability range of liquid water allowing it to potentially exist across the Solar System. In this talk, Lowell Observatory astronomer Dr. Jennifer Hanley will discuss chlorine salts, what they mean for habitability, and how we go about detecting them on other planets, focusing on Mars and Europa.
