Weekend of Wallkill

The weekend kicks off in the evening on Friday September 22 with the “Beauty of Wallkill” Art Show and Story Time, Lego Building and a Fall Egg Hunt for children. Artisans are welcome to submit their paintings, photographs, and other works of art. The Weekend of Wallkill celebration continues Saturday, September 23 with Wonka’s Wonder Show, Touch A Truck, a Mad Scientist Scavenger Hunt, along with games and contests including the fan favorites - Dog Costume and Potato Peeling Contests, food trucks, and a variety of vendors and organizations. Most events take place on the lawn of the Wallkill Public Library or in the lobby of the Shawangunk Town Hall. New this year will be a fireworks finale Saturday evening, with viewing at Garrison Park.
