Adams Fairacre Farms began in the early 1900s as a roadside farmstand in Poughkeepsie, New York, run by Ralph A. Adams and his family. To this day Adams Fairacre Farms is a family-owned and operated business.

Now we offer much more than produce. With 4 locations in the Hudson Valley, Adams consists of a full-service Meat Department, Seafood Department, Deli, Prepared Foods Department, Cheese and Coffee Departments, Bakery, Sweet Shop, Gourmet Grocery, Gift Shop, Flower Shop, Garden Center, Greenhouses and Nursery as well as three side businesses– Adams Landscaping, Adams Fences and Adams Power Equipment. Though a lot has changed since the farmstand days, our reputation for providing top quality products and outstanding customer service is unwavering.

The Customer Experience

Visiting Adams for the first time can be awe-inspiring. The abundance, the amazing variety and the enormous scope of offerings are features unique to Adams Fairacre Farms and are unparalleled in the Hudson Valley.

Adams is known throughout the region for carrying the most impressive, reasonably priced fresh produce around. We’re also known for our huge selection of locally produced foods—cheeses, baked goods, dairy products, meats, produce—the list goes on. Then, there are the foods from around the world. You won’t find a larger collection of international favorites under one roof. From fresh ground coffees, store-cut meats, hand-cut cheeses, freshly prepared foods, made-to-order gift baskets and super-fresh seafood to gourmet groceries, fancy chocolates, gorgeous flowers, pampered plants, unusual gifts and much, much more—quality is the name of the Adams game.
