In BioEYES, young scientists will dive into the world of zebrafish biology as they observe real embryo development in action! Through hands-on experiments, microscopes, and guided exploration, students will discover how life begins, learn about genetics, and even raise their own zebrafish from egg to larvae. This engaging program brings science to life—literally—sparking curiosity, discovery, and a deeper appreciation for the wonders of biology!

BioEyes

Duration: 5-day session April 14 -  18, 2025  9:00 AM – 3:30 PM Daily (Age Requirement: Children 7-9 yrs.)

Introducing BioEyes, a captivating science education program developed in collaboration with the University of Pennsylvania.

BioEyes offers a cutting-edge curriculum that merges hands-on exploration with authentic scientific inquiry. Through this immersive experience, students delve into the captivating realm of biology and genetics, unlocking the mysteries of life right in their own classroom.

In BioEyes, students embark on a fascinating journey as they work with live zebrafish, engaging in activities that range from mating the fish to observing the development of embryos under microscopes. Witnessing the transformation of embryos into clear, free-swimming larvae with beating hearts provides a firsthand glimpse into the wonders of cell biology and Mendelian genetics.

This exemplary science curriculum serves as a comprehensive introduction to fundamental concepts while instilling a deep appreciation for the scientific method.
