The Buena Vista Orchestra brings the vibrant spirit and timeless rhythms of Cuban music to the stage at Paramount Hudson Valley on October 9. Celebrating the rich legacy of the legendary Buena Vista Social Club and its extended musical family, this extraordinary ensemble features world-class musicians who have performed with icons including Celia Cruz, Omara Portuondo, Chucho Valdés, Willie Colón, and the AfroCuban All Stars. Together, they deliver an unforgettable live experience filled with the infectious energy, soulful melodies, and irresistible grooves that have captivated audiences around the world. Led by virtuoso Cuban violinist Rolando Morejón Reyes, the orchestra showcases a remarkable lineup of musicians deeply connected to the golden era of Cuban music. Reyes—whose distinguished career includes collaborations with Omara Portuondo, Cachao López, Oscar D’León, and many more—guides the ensemble through a thrilling repertoire rooted in son, mambo, bolero, and Latin jazz traditions. Joined by an all-star group including trumpeter Antonio Perigo, percussionist Miguel Valdés, pianist Helder Rojas, trombonist Yosmel Garcerarn, and Latin Grammy–nominated percussionist Pepe Espinosa, the group brings unmatched musicianship and authenticity to every performance. For decades, the Buena Vista Social Club and its related projects have introduced the beauty of Cuban music to audiences across the globe, selling millions of albums and inspiring acclaimed documentaries, tours, and theatrical productions.
