The Wooden Boat School at the Hudson River Maritime Museum is offering 4 sessions of wordworking classes for ages 12-16. Each session runs Monday-Friday from 10am-2pm. The fourth of these sessions will teach students how to build a four corner tray. Students will be introduced to basic woodworking and carpentry skills, including half laps, box joints, mortise and tenons, and dovetail joints as they use a variety of joining techniques to build a four corner tray. Students will take home their completed project on Friday. Please direct any questions about this program to Hudson River Maritime Museum's Education Director, Kerry Gallagher, at kgallagher@hrmm.org
