Community Puzzle with Local Toymaker

Local toymaker and artist Kardash Onnig will have a table set up in the Millbrook Library Gallery filled with his handcrafted toys for children to explore and learn with.
Drawing on the pedagogy of Rudolph Steiner, Onnig's toys are lovingly crafted to help young children explore color matching, shapes, and their own imagination. There will also be a chance for children to collaborate on a community puzzle, drawing on a piece of wood that will fit together into a whole.
This event is good for children aged 3-10, but all are welcome! So, stop in for a few minutes after school on Fridays in September, and don't forget to visit Onnig's art display in the Franklin Avenue entryway on display through the end of the month. Keep in mind this is aa casual pop-in event, but we also have a library full of books and other toys in our downstairs children's section for you to explore.
