A professional theatre in New Paltz, NY that brings an intimate storytelling experience to audiences. Each year, the DENIZEN produces a season of professional compelling, actor-driven, contemporary plays that focuses on new works, emerging playwrights, and powerful themes. Alongside a program of theatre, DENIZEN offerings include film showings, workshops, new plays readings, and a Gallery space showcasing local visual art.
Our WEE STORIES program offers monthly puppetry and storytelling sessions for wee ones. Summer programs in puppetry and animation will offer students entering Grades 2-5 the chance to fully immerse themselves in a creative process.
