Spark Media Project presents: "Sci-fi/Fantasy Filmmaking" - In this workshop students have a chance to create a world with out-of-this-world elements. Students learn the basics of the sci-fi and fantasy genres in regards to filmmaking. Working in groups, students will have the opportunity to script, storyboard, and film their own original sci-fi/fantasy narrative short films. Special focus will be given to special effects such as telekinesis, super speed, and teleportation! Possible project topics include ghost movies, superhero movies, or movies about magic! Ages 13+. Location: Hudson Area Library, 51 N 5th St, Hudson. Mobile Media Labs are supported by the NYS Regional Economic Development Council, which enables Spark Media Project to bring comprehensive Media Education to area libraries.
