The Wooden Boat School at the Hudson River Maritime Museum is offering 4 week-long sessions of wordworking classes for ages 12-16.Each session runs Monday-Friday from 10am-2pm. The second of these sessions will teach students how to build a stool and carve out a spoon. Students will be introduced to basic woodworking and carpentry skills, including using rasps, gauges, and paper to hollow out and round spoons.
