Come meet Nicole Porto, Executive Director of Land to Learn! Nicole has traveled the world learning about small organic farms, and now she helps kids explore food, gardens, and the environment at Land to Learn. Through fun, hands-on activities, kids will connect with nature, learn where their food comes from, and discover how they can help the planet grow. Don’t miss out- your garden adventure awaits! Perfect for kids ages 5-10.
NextGen STEAM is the Mid-Hudson Discovery Museum's program where kids meet diverse professionals from exciting STEAM careers — scientists, engineers, artists, and more! Hear inspiring stories, learn what motivated these experts to pursue their paths, and get a glimpse into their daily work. Each session features a hands-on activity or craft that ties into the profession, offering a fun and interactive way for young minds to explore potential passions. It’s the perfect opportunity to spark curiosity and be inspired by the leaders of tomorrow!
