Poughkeepsie Day School is an independent coeducational school serving students in the mid-Hudson valley, for Pre-K - 8th grade. PDS offers an intellectual progressive curriculum with an equal emphasis on core subjects and the arts. We will be launching our high school in September 2026 beginning with Grade 9. In winter 2025, PDS will be applying for International Baccalaureate candidacy for grades PreK-Grade 10.
PDS offers a highly affordable bilingual English-Spanish after care program that runs from 3-5:30pm. We also offer a range of enrichments, including yoga, drama, and Pop Icons, a collective of future rock stars. Ask about free bussing.
