THANKSGIVING at the Farmers' Museum

*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 11/26/2022
Walk off your holiday meal with a stroll through The Farmers’ Museum’s 1840s country village as the museum opens its doors on the Friday and Saturday following Thanksgiving Day. The museum is the perfect setting to spend time with family and friends over the holiday weekend. You’ll find blacksmiths forging cooking utensils throughout the day inside the Peleg Field Blacksmith Shop. Be sure to visit the Print Shop Exhibit in the Main Barn to see historic recipes printed using a 19th-century printing press. Stop by Bump Tavern to learn about traditional cooking methods and recipes. The Pharmacy Exhibit will also prepare bygone medications that help aid digestion after a big Thanksgiving meal. Bring the entire family! Kids can catch a glimpse of the heritage-breed turkeys, visit the farm animals, or enjoy a relaxing walk around the museum’s 19th-century country village. Included with museum admission
