Our Kids Camp is a great alternative to full-day summer-long programs. Our small camp groups enable students to receive individual attention in a warm, family-like atmosphere. All of our Art camps are one-week sessions with half-day, full-day and extended-day options. Ages for camps are grades 1-5 (entering for Fall), unless otherwise noted in the camp description.

Students will receive intensive instruction from theatre industry professionals in acting, voice, and dance while rehearsing a full-blown production of Disney’s Descendants, the lively new stage musical based on the beloved Disney Channel film!

In this camp students will take part in Hip Hop and Jazz classes with an emphasis on technique, learning combinations, and of course having fun! Campers will also take part in age appropriate dance themed activities, games, and fun challenges.

Rock City World Tour introduces young campers to a world of music! This music camp for kids 4-6 years old includes a mix of storytime, musical instruments, and group play. It’s the perfect camp for preschoolers and early elementary students who want to get started with music!

Based on the real stories behind the most famous classical ballets, (Swan Lake, Giselle, Coppelia and more) the students will read, dance, act out, and learn some of the real steps/arm movements of the most famous ballets ever performed.

We offer overnight camp sessions for campers coming out of 3rd-12th grade. Campers who choose a Residential Camp week will stay in cabins on our 245 acre campus on the shores of Sacandaga Lake.

CaravanKids workshops are two weeks bursting with dance, music, creativity, and adventure. Each day, we go to a new country, meeting with different teachers from around the world. Little ones will receive secret missions from fairies and a special passport journal. Throughout the day students take three dance classes: Creative Movement, which will have them turning into animals, playing dance games, and exploring their full range of movement and boundless creative expression. World Dance & Music, in which students learn dances and songs from all around the world. Folk songs & stories, in which they learn folktales from different countries.

Campers will put on a production of Frozen, Jr. during this 3 week camp!

Adventure Boat Camp introduces young people to the natural wonders of the Hudson River, builds their boating skills, and gives them a taste of adventure. Under the guidance of Arm-of-the-Sea co-founder Patrick Wadden, participants work together creating visuals, movement, text and music. These elements are woven together, rehearsed, and presented on the Tidewater Center stage at a Waterfront Wednesday event.

Camp Pinebrook is an inclusive community, welcoming all. We incorporate Jewish values into our programming, helping our campers relate to Jewish life organically, where Judaism feels natural and relatable. We welcome other faiths, interfaith families, families with no religious affiliation, and families still exploring their connection to synagogue life and the Jewish community. There are at minimum eight 30-minute activity periods each day, including special programming on Fridays. Every day, campers have sports, arts & crafts, daily semi-private swim lessons and free swim. In addition, campers regularly participate in nature, science & discovery, music, drama, cooking, and yoga. Camp Pinebrook tuition includes towel service, all programs, lunch, and snacks. Our normal camp day is 9:00am to 4:00pm with extended care available from 7:00am to 6:30pm for those who need it.
