WILDER: A Workshop Series to Raise Awareness and Funds for Cetacean Sanctuaries - For Kids!

These educational and creative workshops are fundraisers for cetacean sanctuaries for those dolphins and whales currently kept captive in the entertainment industry, such as those in marine parks. Scroll down for dates! A portion of the proceeds will be donated to www.whalesanctuaryproject.org , who are nearing the ability to accept whales into their bay sanctuary in Nova Scotia!

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
Echolocation! Songwriting! Self awareness and expression! T shirt design! Family Pods! Model making! Biomagnetism! Intuitive Dance!   Ecosystems and Change! Letter writing!

WILDER is a 5 part series full of whale and dolphin science, artistic expression, and everyday activism in support of cetacean sanctuaries. A portion of proceeds will go to the whalesanctuaryproject.org .

Each class is 2 hours long, from 12-2, every other Sunday ( 1/5, 1/19, 2/2, 2/16, 3/2)  at The Good Work Institute in Kingston. This particular series is geared towards kids 7-11 years old. Parents and caretakers are welcome to stay or drop off their creative scientist!

Thought the series is cumulative, you may sign up for all 5, or for only those dates that work for you. Regardless, we will have fun, learn a lot, and make a change for the better for the lives of whales and dolphins, and for Earth's ecosystem as a whole.

Each class is $25. You may pay ahead of time via venmo at @invitingwildness or in person ( cash only). A sliding scale is available.

Please register and/or reach out with any questions by emailing jeckosara@gmail.com

   Pre-registration is required.

Hope to see ( sea?) you there!
