Grades 2-12 come to Caramoor for educational field trips, and Caramoor goes to middle schools and high schools for hands-on music instruction. These programs, geared toward public schools in the area, are interdisciplinary and interactive.

Our WEE STORIES program offers monthly puppetry and storytelling sessions for wee ones. Summer programs in puppetry and animation will offer students entering Grades 2-5 the chance to fully immerse themselves in a creative process.

Most classes include open studio time. Open Studio times for each studio are listed on our website. Students are only entitled to use the studio free of charge for the duration of the course, or as listed in the course description. Classes start and end promptly. Please do not arrive more that 10 minutes early for a class without open studio time before it. You will be asked to begin clean up 15 minutes prior to class end time. ​

The art center, which has three painting studios, a pottery studio, a children's art room, an Apple computer lab and and a specialty studio for metalsmithing, stone sculpture, woodworking and fused glass is housed in a beautifully renovated old schoolhouse, walking distance from the Goldens Bridge Train Station.

We offer hands-on workshops that combine nature exploration with art-making and science discovery. Often our workshops involve going for a short walk outdoors to experience nature and harvest natural materials.

Impact Arts, the 501c3 nonprofit that runs Texas Arts Project, offers a multitude of private lessons, prescreen packages, and even in-school workshops. From vocal lessons to interview coaching, we offer incredible training by industry professionals.

Our program develops ideas and master skills in the visual and media arts. Classes are held year around in fall and spring semesters with three-week long summer intensives.

We understand what kids need to be successful: quality programming; positive connections with peers and community; and relationships with caring adults. We provide programs in a variety of disciplines for children from birth to late teens, focusing on academics, arts and athletics. We offer a quality curriculum designed to maximize the potential of our students.
