Independent Lake Camp is a premier overnight summer camp in the Poconos for ages 6-17 offering an impressive array of activities rich with integrity due to top-notch facilities, and talented staff. Established over 30 years ago, ILC is dedicated to celebrating diversity, promoting creativity, and empowering individual growth with our individualized, elective scheduling. Campers will learn worthwhile skills in 2-8 week sessions while making everlasting memories & friends. Each camper chooses from: Circus, Trapeze, Sports, Fitness, Archery, Art, Theatre, Dance, Magic, Music, Recording Studio, Skatepark, Digital Arts, Moviemaking, RPG, Rocketry, Climbing Wall, High Ropes, Water-ski, Wakeboard, Lake, Pool, Horseback, Nature & more! Choose from 2 or 3 week session options, or combine multiple sessions for 5, 6, and 8 week experiences, for a fantastic summer filled with unforgettable memories, lifelong friendships, and life skills that provide your child with independence, self confidence, and a sense of achievement!

Get ready to run away with the circus at our most thrilling summer camp extravaganza! Campers will learn jaw-dropping tricks like juggling, tightrope walking, and clowning around. With our talented circus instructors, every day is a whirlwind of laughter and excitement. Our spectacular end-of-the-week circus show is always a memorable and hilarious sight to behold! We offer overnight camp sessions for campers coming out of 3rd-12th grade. Campers who choose a Residential Camp week will stay in cabins on our 245 acre campus on the shores of Sacandaga Lake.

Sailing out of the upstate port of Kingston, NY, Adventure Boat Camp offers an immersive, hands-on experience for young adventurers, connecting them to the natural wonders of the Hudson River.

During the summer months, PDS offers a Summer Camp Program for children ages 4-12 and Jazz camp for children ages 12-18. Our program includes an assortment of programs: science, cooking, nature, construction, music, and art. In all programs, participants have a healthy balance of time spent on indoor activities and time outside on our playground and wooded campus.

Ramapo’s Day Camp programs (Day Camp, Travel Camp, and CIT Program) are for youth ages 5* to 15 years old. Counselors are trained in the renowned Ramapo Approach, which is built on the simple belief that all young people want the same things: to learn, to feel valued for who they are, and to experience success.

Campers will create a short film with the support of film-loving peers and the guidance of a professional film instructor. Whether it’s a camper’s first or fiftieth time making a movie, our staff will meet campers at their individual skill level and encourage their growth. We believe there is always something new to learn, especially in the creative world of visual storytelling!

Campers will use state-of-the-art stop-motion software Dragonframe and Canon DSLR cameras to bring their wildest ideas to life, practice essential techniques, watch and dissect amazing shorts from groundbreaking artists, and channel their creativity through animation.

Challenge Camp is an ACA-accredited day camp at Iona University in New Rochelle, offering summer enrichment learning opportunities for creative children ages 4-15. Over 140 STEM & Arts project based electives to engage and inspire your camper. Sports and on-site Swimming options enable campers to challenge their minds and bodies.

Set your imagination free this summer in some of Westchester's wildest preserves, as we go off-trail to explore new habitats, discover new skills & ancient crafts...and play lots of epic games! Our 2025 Wild Summer runs from June 30 -August 22 with weekly sessions that run from Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm. Sessions operate at both Croton Point Park and Marsh Sanctuary so make sure to sign up for the location most convenient for you.
